1. Who we are
N66 Tours (“N66”, “we”, “us”) is a licensed travel agency based at Norður-Nýjabæ, 851 Hella, Iceland. We are authorized by the Icelandic Tourist Board (Ferðamálastofa) under license no. 2017-032 and, as required by Act No. 95/2018 on Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements, we are a member of Iceland's Travel Insurance Fund, which protects payments made to us in the event of our insolvency.
2. How booking works
Selecting a date on our site and submitting your details creates a booking request, not an immediate confirmed booking. We review each request and confirm it directly by email, at which point your spot is reserved. We do not currently process payment through the website — payment is arranged directly with you once your booking is confirmed.
3. Cancellations & changes
Each tour listing states its own cancellation policy. As a general rule, free cancellation applies up to 24 hours before departure; cancellations made less than 24 hours before departure, or no-shows, may be charged in full. Ice cave and glacier conditions vary with the season and weather — if we need to cancel or reroute a tour for safety reasons, we will contact you directly to reschedule or refund any payment already made.
4. Nature of the activity
Our tours take place in a natural glacier environment and carry inherent risk. You must follow your guide's instructions at all times, meet any fitness or health requirements stated on the tour page, and bring the recommended clothing and footwear. Some tours are not recommended for travelers with certain physical conditions, as noted on the relevant tour page.
5. Liability
We take reasonable care in planning and guiding our tours, but we are not liable for events outside our reasonable control, including weather, natural hazards, or changes to public access at tour sites. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under Icelandic law.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Iceland. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Icelandic courts, without prejudice to any consumer protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
